Plan a trip for a tour of 25 people to a destination of your choice. However, you may not choose a destination you have visited. Describe how the group will get there, where they will stay (accommodations), what they will see when they are there, how they will get around once they arrive (ground transportation), where they will eat and more. You must describe the hotels, restaurants and sightseeing venues. Each student will post their PowerPoint and brochure to Canvas. Your trip should be 5 days in length including travel days.
Include each of the following:
Description of the trip (destination, purpose, etc.)
Background of individuals in the tour group (i.e. demographics, geographic, psychographics, etc.)

Culture and society of your destination
Air transportation (including actual cost, schedule, etc.)

The field of tourism has become of great importance to cities, states, and countries. Some countries rely, to a great degree, on the generation of tourist dollars. For this reason, host countries spend billions to create a market that tourists want to visit. Many cities (and every state of the United States) have tourism boards to do exactly that. In this 3-4 page paper, discuss the following:
Assess the global impact of tourism, including the total value of tourism, the number of those employed by the tourism industry, and its future potential.
Choose one country that you find interesting or plan to visit. Explain the economic impact tourism has had on that country.

For the first part of the assignment, analyze the attractions of the state. You will need to review the chapter in the textbook on attractions. Using the content, draw conclusions about the focus of the DMO’s efforts. For example, every state has a travel guide and other items to facilitate travel to the particular state geared toward the individual traveler. The trade, meeting planners, tour operators, and incentives also have targeted brochures.
Describe the attractions/entertainment in the state.
Identify the brand for the state, and highlight how the destination is focusing on this brand. For instance, the brand for North Carolina is “Deeper Connections.”
Finally, investigate the individual traveler, industry, and trade to find how the state addresses this brand. How does the DMO market to the individual and trade? Identify key marketing, management, and financial issues facing their operations.

customer journey. You could choose an event, attraction, accommodation,
transport or intermediary in any generating or destination region. Your findings,
