In your discussion, describe the five most relevant insights you observed regarding race and gender from that specific Report Card.
Once you have described your most relevant insights, explain what leadership strategies you would employ in order to improve the “diversity grade.” How could you incorporate diversity that goes beyond race and gender in your strategies?
Support your writing with concrete examples from your personal experience, observations, and the module materials. Be sure to use proper APA citations where appropriate.
Respond to two classmates about their observations related to their selected Report Card..

I am in need of a roughly 4-5 page proposals for Graduate Student Research Grant
Program.
Below are the requirements and after I’ve listed suggested research questions. The idea is concentrated really on international student-athletes tranisiton into the college and transitioning out, what challenges and aids are there for them.
– A maximum of $7,500 will be awarded to each grant recipient to support the collection, analyses and
dissemination of their research. Funding requests for educational expenses cannot exceed $2,000, funding for hardware (e.g., laptop computer) not central to the collection of research may not exceed $1,000
(please see the FAQ for this program for further clarification) and funding for conference
travel/participation may not exceed $1,500. Indirect costs will not be funded. Funds will be disbursed to
the appropriate unit at the recipient’s institution (e.g., sponsored projects, campus foundation). An initial
payment for 90 percent of the award will be disbursed after terms and conditions are signed by the
designated institutional officer and, if necessary, after human subjects approval has been granted. The
final 10 percent of the award will be disbursed after the grantee submits their final expense report.
Application Requirements
Proposal. Only proposals adhering to the required format will be reviewed. All sections of the proposal
are limited to 8.5′′x11′′ pages with one-inch margins on all sides, in Times New Roman (or similar) 12-
point font. The following sections are required and should be merged into a single PDF document:
1. Title Page. Please list research study title, name and institution of the student applicant, the applicant’s
address, phone number and email address, and the name and contact information for the institutional
grant or foundation officer who will support the applicant, if funded.
2. Proposal Narrative. (Limited to five double-spaced pages.) The narrative should be structured as
follows:
a. Abstract. (Maximum of 100 words.) The abstract should be a summary of the proposed research,
anticipated findings, and implications.
b. Research Questions. (Maximum of 100 words.) List the research question(s) that guide the
proposed study.
c. Methodology. How will the research question(s) be answered? Describe the research design,
sample/subject selection and recruitment, means of data collection, instruments/protocols to be
used, methods of analyses and anticipated research limitations. (Note: Survey instruments,
interview protocols, etc., may be included, in full, in the “Additional Materials” section of the
proposal.)
d. Significance/Potential Implications. Discuss the significance of the research and the practical
application of your anticipated findings to the NCAA membership (e.g., institutions of higher
education, athletics administrators and/or student-athletes).
4. Bibliography. Provide citations for all works cited in the narrative using APA, MLA, or the citation
style of your discipline.
5. Timeline. (Not to exceed one page.) List the beginning and termination dates for the proposed
research. A list of the projected dates of completion of major milestones in the progress of the proposed
research should be included. This list must include dates for submission of the research brief (fall
2023) and final manuscript or thesis to the NCAA.
6. Budget and Budget Justification. (Not to exceed one page.) The line item budget should total no
more than the maximum award amount of $7,500. Research expenses are intended to support the
gathering, analyzing, and/or dissemination of the data, including academic conference travel. The
justification must provide support for how funds will be used in the research project.
Proposed research questions:
– What are the pre-transition needs for international student-athletes at the NCAA D1 level?
– What are the post-transition needs for international student-athletes at the NCAA D1 level?
– What pre-transition student-athlete support programming exists for international college athletes at the NCAA D1 level?
-What post-transition student-athlete support programming exists for international college athletes at the NCAA D1 level?

The concept of social capital recognizes the benefits that can accrue from new sports facilities beyond strictly economic outcomes. Identify two (2) important social capital benefits that should result from sports facilities. For each, discuss the positive impact that these social capital benefits have on the local community.
At least two (2) sources should be used to support your initial response and at least one (1) should be used to support your responses to your classmates. Further, there is a 300 word minimum for your initial post and a minimum of 150 words the responses to your classmates and your sources should be cited in the text of your responses and referenced properly per APA format.

Protections for All
Part One:
(a) Read over the three tests for constitutionality of religious issues addressed in the textbook. Which one of the three tests do you think is the most appropriate to determine whether an organized pre-game prayer by a public high school basketball team in its locker room would be successfully challenged? How did you reach that conclusion?
(b) Would you change your mind if the pre-game prayer was made over the loudspeaker before the game? Why or why not?
Part Two:
How would a rule that demands all football coaches in a particular state must have played organized team football be challenged?

TOPIC
INTRODUCTION: Salaries for sports stars in male professional sports continue to grow. The salaries of the top-tier male professional athlete climbs what seems like a new hill every year, and the rise is dramatic in all sports. Salaries for professional athletes in female sports, however, continue to be a fraction of what it is in their male counterparts’ industry. Even the most opinionated person who tilts toward increased salaries for women understands the reasons why, even if it isn’t something that we as a society want to hear. Is there a way to better balance the playing field when it comes to salaries? What are some of the things that could incite change? Is more patience needed? What sports have we achieved equal pay, and why is that?
SIGNIFICANCE OF TOPIC: The topic of equitable salaries in professional sports is something that has been discussed at length. The purpose of the paper is to point out the realities of why salaries are disproportioned, what needs to happen to make things more equitable, and if there is a realistic solution on the horizon.

PROJECT ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION Prepare written paper (Arial – 11 pt. font – 1.5

PROJECT ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
Prepare written paper (Arial – 11 pt. font – 1.5 line spacing at least 10 pages but no longer
than 20 pages) explaining the issue with at least ten current (within the last five years) references included in the report bibliography which should appear at the end of the report.
Run a SPELL CHECK before submitting your paper. Misspellings will not be tolerated and your grade on this project will be one full letter grade lower if you fail to do this simple task. Please take pride in the grammatical quality of your paper.
Your bibliographical reference list at the end of your paper should be in alphabetical order by last name and look like this:
Grazer, Brian, and Charles Fishman. 2015. A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life. New York: Simon & Schuster.
Smith, Zadie. 2016. Swing Time. New York: Penguin Press.
If you use a quote from a source in the text of your paper, you would end the sentence containing the quote with an insertion referring to a reference in your end of paper bibliography that should look like this: (Grazer and Fishman 2015, p. 12) or (Smith 2016, pp. 315–16). If you wish to include a note saying more about the quotation or any reference used, you would drop a footnote on that page.
NEVER solely cite an internet URL or provide an internet link without a bibliographic reference. Your reference in the end bibliography should look like this:
Griffin, P. and H.J. Carroll. (2011) NCAA Inclusion of Transgender Student-Athletes. National Collegiate Athletic Association: Indianapolis, IN. Retrieve at: http://www.ncaapublications.com/p-4335-ncaa-inclusion-of-transgender-student- athletes.aspx
and if you used a quote in the text of your paper, your citation at the end of the sentence
containing the quote should be (Griffin and Carroll, 2011)
Always put your name, the course number, the course title and the date your paper was
submitted at the top of your paper.
When titling your electronic document which is to be sent to the instructor as an email
attachment, the title should be your last name following by the description of the assignment. Example: “SMITH-Gender Equity Paper – SMT457 Example: “SMITH – Semester Project – SMT457”
The written report should be organized as follows:
Situation (copy the situation exactly as it was assigned as the lead paragraph)
Review of the Literature. List each of the references you read (10 minimum) and
summarize the main points of each respective article, current news story, or
research study as it relates your topic or case study.
Be sure to answer the challenge of the assignment (solve the problem, develop the
policy, list the pros and cons, present the solution, etc.)
Recommended Policy – ALWAYS include your recommendation for a sport
organization policy that addresses the issue with regard to preventing the occurrence or reoccurrence of this problem. Be sure your policy document is formatted as a policy (see samples in the Cloud that are provided in addition to your print textbook). Note that your textbook purchase allows you to download pre-formatted policies. See if these policies contain a sample related to your topic. Feel free to use the sample BUT BE SURE TO CUSTOMIZE for your problem or challenge and to cite the Lopiano/Zotos textbook in your bibliography.
